The most powerful rocket booster in production is unveiled–and it's privately owned.

What's really cool is that the manufacturers, SpaceX, are planning an even bigger one that will dwarf a Saturn V.

  2. I wait with barely concealed glee for the day when a manned deep-space mission goes up on a Falcon XX- right past the International Space Station.

It's time for NASA, etc., to stop screwing around in LEO and get back to serious business. Which does not include "Muslim outreach". The only outreach that matters is the one to the planets, and (one day) beyond.

    cheers
