RoboTentacle

And now for something completely different:  A prosthetic arm concept that works like a tentacle.

The question remains:   Is this meant to enhance mobility or just to freak people out?

  2. ...Oh, this is happy news. It's news that a usable, beneficial version of one of these may be along soon.

I do hope that within my lifetime, prostheses become better than the default organic limbs they replace. Please, technology, make it so! I want grasping prehensile robo-tentacle arms and legs that let me leap buildings! Zooming eyes with visibility in all spectrums, to replace these poor, myopic eyeballs!

Oh, to live long enough to get to that point...
