It is just that any loose gravel on the road will have the kinetic energy of a bullet.
ReplyDeleteIf the front wheels eject any loose gravel or small stones at those speeds, they will get an awful lot of kinetic energy - and may well damage, even pierce, the rear wheels.
What a buzz-kill, Ironmistress! Anyway, I prefer caltrops. Or spiky wheel hubs, if racing side by side.
