    Day for day for night?

    The Green Hornet dosen't miss
    an opprotunity to incriminate
    himself!

    PS:
    This is the cheif!
I'm a voice in a box on some
    guy's desk!

  2. Contrast between this and Commando Cody. Commando-san set out to make a dumb, unspectacular bit of celluloid with silver particles embedded in it---and succeeded. Green Hornet seems to be trying for something more, and is not doing so well. In my opinion. Things hinted at, and implied, and the viewer is asked to connect dots that do not always actually exist.

Also, Ethnic Stereotype Theater! So far we have a Japanese (no, Korean, maybe because of that whole war thing? or was the serial pre-?), and an Irishman. I'm waiting for the Eastern European Jew. Because, hey, I do not consider myself to be chopped liver either, nu?

  3. Those darn stereotypes!

Kato invents the super car engine, the super engine fuel, the non-lethal gun...

He's a martial artist (ok, so far, ONE guy knocked out)
amateur safe cracker (so he says!) and driver.

Seems to me he's doing all the prep work.
