The Giant Claw

  1. 1) The key frame photo looks like those Russian
Tubes (Valves to you Brits) that audiophiles swear
sound better than those new-fangled transistors.
PS: Monster cables work no better than the others.

    2) Not Craw! Craw!
    Classic comedy from the 1960s!

    3) The actors were told to imagine they were looking
    at a horrible alien monster.
When they saw it in the theatre with everyone else
it was a bedraggled wooden puppet.

  2. Ridiculous though that scurvy bird may have looked, I mentioned Jeff Morrow to my mom and she said "oh he was in that movie where that horrible bird was eating those men jumping from the plane".
She meant horrible in its effect, not in the effect's execution. She's the only person I know that saw it (or will own up to seeing it) in a theater, but she said at the time that everyone was horrified by the bird's taste in snacks.
My dad on the other hand probably slept through the thing like he always did.

  3. I thought I saw clips from "Earth vs The Flying Saucers" (Washington Monument collapses while in NYC) and
"War of the Worlds" (Los Angeles city hall blows up while in NYC.)

Speaking of EvsFS, isn't that the actor who was the General who had his brain sucked out as General 3 Star?
