I can see the reasoning, I suppose. "1. Meat is good. 2. As is candy. 3. Argal, if one combines the two (and assuming that things scale linearly in the relevant region), then at absolutely no cost, one will double the efficiency of the happification of his mouth." Alas, as with beer and coffee, or ice cream and Tabasco Sauce, or Vegemite and pretty much anything, it turns out that meat and candy are best enjoyed separately.
ReplyDeleteIn theory, practice and theory are the same. In practice, they're not. A lesson our esteemed elected officials could stand to learn.
Over here in the States we've had tremendous success combining chocolate and bacon.
