All that trouble for nothing

On a happier note, the Greeks have built a new museum to house the Elgin Marbles, which have about as much chance of returning to Athens as I have of taking up break dancing.

  1. Don't be so sure. Were he in Britain, our own dear serial apologizer would have had the Queen bear-hugged, a Saudi dog-chain hung around his neck, and the rocks back in Greece by now.

    Speaking of which, we should have a spare serial apologizer lying around taking up Secret Service time in about three and a half years. Maybe we can ship him over to the other side of the pond.

  2. I think your opinion might be different if the greeks had wound up with the magna carta.
