How do you tickle a gorilla?

A group of scientists have discovered that gorillas, chimpanzees and orangutans laugh when you tickle them.

I'd love to have sat in on the grant committee for this one. "Cure for cancer? Naw. Let's go for tickling monkeys."

  1. I used to worry there'd be nothing to replace "The Far Side" after Gary Larson retired, but I've since learned to have more faith in academia.

Very carefully. It seems a rather dangerous form of scientific enlightenment, as a successful tickle usually has an element of surprise, and a surprised ape is a dangerous ape.
