Windy Irony

A golden eagle has been killed by a wind turbine in Washington State.

Wind power: protecting the environment the way a Cusinart protects a tomato.

Update: Now the goats are for it.

    No problem, as soon as the Sierra Club files for an injunction the entire turbine field can be shut down to determine the environmental impact. No?
    That's what happened back in the early 80s when an eagle was found nesting on the grounds of Plant Vogtle (our nearby nuclear plant), and that project got shut down for months.

    The article pointed out of course that golden eagles aren't endangered so that makes it all right to puree them in a turbine, and it may not be illegal since it isn't "intentional"
