Junior Newspeak

The Ministry of Truth's Oxford University Press's Junior Newspeak Dictionary will not include words that reference Christianity, royalty, Empire, myth, or the countryside, as such concepts have been decreed as thoughtcrimes for Outer Party members.

Note that "bacon" has also been declared a non-word.

  1. What about "contrifibularities"?
Knowing they intentionally left out words certainly takes the fun out of congratulating them on not having missed a single word.
Seriously though, the idea of editing a dictionary to reflect the senseless politics of the time is just asking for ridicule in the future.
Although in this case, that's fine with me, I hope it haunts these idiots for years

  2. At approximately ten words per line, that's 170 words taken out, "to make room for" 80 put in. Typical socialist efficiency. And 80 is being generous. I don't think that "brainy" and some of its friends are actual words.
