And Then They Ate The Forth Bridge

Scientists in Britain have discovered worms that can eat lead, zinc, arsenic, and copper.

Why do I regard this as the first ten minutes of a Doomwatch episode?

  1. Forget the Forth Bridge (the worms are going to eat it anyway). I'm trying to figure out why they thought we needed a reference worm in that picture.
