What a surprize that automated weapons should be a threat to humanity. It's only a matter of time before we bungle into Skynet or Colossus or whatever and we will only have ourselves to blame. Don't worry about all that friend or foe, preportionate respose stuff. We're all the enemy and the only response is (all together now) EXTERMINATE!
