School as Preparation for Life in Modern Britain

Lunchtime, kids! Grab a tray and get fingerprinted.

  1. Well, I'm not too disturbed by the fingerprinting system; my secondary school library used a similar system when borrowing books (OH NOES, BIG BROTHER etc). I'm more concerned by this:

"Children can no longer buy sweets or fizzy drinks and the risk of losing their money is reduced, it added."

No buying of sweets or fizzy drinks?! Where will they get their energy from?
